Wings of the Dove (1987)
Director: Iain Softley
Cast: Helena Bonham Carter
Compared to Golden Bowl, this one has a very strong recall…I would say more than the movie per se, it is the plot that I still re-collect. More than the performance, it is plot which I feel is the highlight. In a way the performance too was really moving, I clearly remember how I felt when I watched the movie. That’s what I really like such movies, the emotions it is able to build on recollection.
Helena Bonham Carter: Fight Club. Till date nothing beats that for me.
